Cheyenne

Available for adoption

Cheyenne is about 11 months old now. She was initially trapped in October of 2014 as part of a TNR project I am working on. Initially we returned her to her colony after she recovered from her spay. The colony caretaker then contacted me in December stating she had an injured foot. The caretaker was able to pick her up and place her in a carrier. We took her to the vet and he found an old injury that had already healed and was not causing her any issues. Since she was so friendly, we decided to keep her and work with her.

Cheyenne is super sweet and incredibly affectionate. She likes to cuddle and be held close. She doesn’t mind having her belly scratched and just wants to be close. She’s still a bit leery and will run from you if you are up and walking around quickly. It’s when you are sitting down that you become the best thing in the world and she just wants to be on you. Cheyenne has a weird meow. At first we thought she was sick but it turns out, that’s just the way she meows. It’s pretty funny and quite adorable.

Cheyenne lives with many other cats and is great with them. She doesn’t have any cats she will sleep/cuddle with, but she does have a couple that she has some great play sessions with. She also lives with a pushy pit bull and is fine with her. She just ignores her even when she’s getting pushed around with that bully nose.

So that’s Cheyenne in a nutshell. I’m honestly surprised she has not been adopted yet. She’s such a gem and she’s so darn cute. Her face reminds me of a stuffed animal.
